Sentinel run-time environment
To obtain the latest run-time environment for your Geocentrix licence key, please follow these instructions:
- Visit this link to Thales's support portal
- Locate the latest version of the 'Sentinel HASP/LDK Windows GUI Runtime Installer' and click the link provided
- Click the link next to the label "Click here to download file"
- Read the end user license agreement and click the 'I Accept' button (at the bottom of the page) to continue
- Save and then open (or just open) the zip file provided
- Run the program 'HASPUserSetup.exe' contained within that zip file
- Follow the on-screen instructions
The run-time environment supports Windows 10 (and earlier) operating systems.
Geocentrix's vendor ID
Geocentrix's vendor ID is 48297.

How to open the Sentinel Admin Control Center
- Open your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Edge, Firefox, Chrome, etc.)
- In the browser's address bar open, type http://localhost:1947/_int/diag.html and press ENTER
- The Sentinel Admin Control Center should open and show its diagnostics page. This page lists the run-time environment components and versions installed on the computer
- If the diagnostic page shows an error that says "Page not found" or "Unable to connect", the License Manager service (hasplms.exe) may not be running - see below how to remedy
How to start the Sentinel LDK License Manager
- Type "cmd" into the search box next to Windows start menu. A command window should open.
- In the Command window, type "services.msc" and press ENTER. The Services console should open.
- In the Services console, search for an entry labelled "Sentinel LDK License Manager" (or "HASP License Manager" for earlier runtime libraries).
- Change the Startup Type to "Automatic (Delayed Start)"
- If the Status is not "Running", right-click on the entry and select "Start"
- If the License Manager service is missing from the console, download and run the Sentinel HASP/LDK Windows GUI Runtime Installer (HASPUserSetup.exe) as described on the left hand side of this page.

Legacy licence manager
ReWaRD 2.7, ReActiv 1.7, and Repute 2.0 and earlier versions of Geocentrix's software used the Aladdin HASP License Manager for Win32. Although this software is no longert supplied or supported by Thales, some instructions for its use are provided below.
How to check if the HASP License Manager for Win32 is installed
- In the Command window, type "services.msc" and press ENTER. The Services console should open.
- In the Services console, search for an entry labelled "HASP Loader".
- Change the Startup Type to "Automatic"
- If the Status is not "Running", right-click on the entry and select "Start"
- If the HASP Loader service is missing from the console, download the HASP HL License Manager installer (lmsetup.exe) from this link and install it.
- The HASP License Manager for Win32 can be installed as an application (nhsrv32.exe) or as a service (nhsrvice.exe). Both programs are installed to the C:\Windows\System32 folder. If installed as an application, make sure that is starts when the computer boots.
